Systems Engineering Practitioner

Job Description:

We're looking for a Performance engineer (5+ years of experience) for IMG eCommerce portfolio with GCP Knowledge and Automation skills, who must collaborate with Product development teams and ensure they meet Performance, scalability, and reliability of website/application.

 

Skills Required:

• Hands on experience working extensively in Performance Engineering and running Load and performance tests for Web based applications preferable eCommerce websites.
• Advise on performance testing capabilities using Load Runner and other Load Testing / Monitoring Tools.
• Define testing processes, technologies, tools, and leverage methodologies predominantly based on automated scripts and programs.
• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure ,Architects regarding performance engineering, design, and testing.
• Design and execute performance tests to assess the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of software applications and systems under various load conditions.
• Conduct capacity planning to forecast future demand and ensure that systems have sufficient resources to support current and projected workloads.
• Extensive Log monitoring and analysis for both application and deployment pipeline to keep the Cloud Run services up and running without any issues.
• Provide recommendations and guidance on performance optimization, system architecture, and infrastructure design to enhance system performance and scalability.

 

Skills Preferred:

• Proven experience in performance engineering, performance testing, and system optimization, preferably in a software development or IT environment.
• Strong understanding of performance monitoring and profiling tools like Dynatrace , Grafana, Prometheus and the ability to analyze system performance metrics and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex performance issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Exposure to Cloud Monitoring and logging.
• Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Content Management system tool) is added advantage.

 

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience with
• Hands on experience working extensively in Performance Engineering and running Load and performance tests for Web based applications preferable eCommerce websites.

 

Education Required:

• 4 years BE/ Btech or equivalent

 

Education Preferred:

• Certifications in Google Cloud (GCP)
