Citrix Admin
Citrix and VDI
Required Technical Skill Set Citrix Presentation Server 4.0, Xenapp 5.0 and 6.5, Xendesktop and Basic VMWare and Active Directory
Desired Experience Range 3-6 years
Location of Requirement GGV Gurgaon
Must Have
- Administering Citrix Presentation server 4.0/ XenApp 4.5/5.0/6.5.
- Citrix Web Interface, Citrix Resource Manager, Citrix Installation Manager, Citrix Farm configuration.
- Generating reports using Citrix Report Center and Resource Manager.
- Participation in all Severity 1 bridge calls involving Citrix Outages.
- Xen Desktop and Citrix Provisioning Services.
- Troubleshooting connectivity to the Data Store and licensing issues.
- Troubleshooting the Citrix IMA Service and the ICA communication channel.
- Citrix Provisioning services which includes administering farms and managing Virtual disks.
Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role
- Citrix/XenApp Server Health Check based on alerts,issues and Resource Manager.
- Published application health check.
- Application Installation , Publishing and Up-gradation for Citrix / XenApp Farm.
- Web Interface Server Administration.
- Inventory reporting for Citrix/XenApp Farm.
- Server Monitoring through Edgesight/Client OV.
- Co-ordination with different support teams to work on different server/application issues.
- Creating and running scripts to implement different tasks.
- Xen Desktop Servers(Provisioning,DDC) Health Check based on alerts and issues.
- Inventory reporting for VDI Environment.
- Virtual Machine Provisioning in VDI Environment.
