General Summary:

In this role, the responsibilities will include collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain cloud-based applications and services within the cloud ecosystem. The role expects  enhancements/maintainence of Data Pipeline for data ingestion, processing and transform. The role also involves managing the cloud infrastructure and ensure scalability, security, and high availability. Deployment of cloud applications, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system performance are also part of the job. The role requires the implementation of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the development and maintenance of the Data Lake, ensuring efficient and secure data ingestion, storage, retrieval, and processing.

Skills/Experience:

    AWS Expertise: Solid 3 years of experience in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, RDS, Redshift, and Glue.
    DevSecOps Skills: 2-3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation (CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform).
    Programming Languages: Deep 10+ years of programming skills in languages like Java, Python with deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
    Database Knowledge: Deep understading and working knowledge on SQL and NoSQL databases.
    Data Lake Experience: Experience on Data Engineering, Data Lake, Data Pipeline etc.
    Architecture : 2+ years of experience in (Data / Application/ Cloud) architecture experience.

Nice to Have:

    Full Stack Development : Experience working with MEAN/MERN stack is big plus.  
    Big Data Technologies: Exposure to big data tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Presto.
    Security Best Practices: Knowledge of AWS security features, IAM roles, and encryption.
    Certifications: AWS Certified Architect (Assoc) or AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT-relevant work experience with Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems).
OR
7+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

• 4+ years of work experience with Full-stack Application Development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• 3+ years of work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.
