Job title: HR Generalist

Job function and sub function: HR

Position summary: Human Resource Generalist includes, Time Office, Pay-Roll, Recruitment, Interim & Off-Role Trainee Manpower Handling / ER& IR, General Administration

Reports to (role): Mr. Tushar Pawar (HR Manager)

Team size (Direct and total): 03

Works closely with: Mr. Tushar Pawar (HR Manager), Mr. M. Marimuthu (Sr. HR Manager), Plant manager & Functional Managers & Group Leaders

Location: Chakan

Key Responsibilities:

  • Should have worked in Manufacturing Industry as Generalist Role in HR
  • Good exposure in Time Office, Statutory Forms & Registers
  • Daily Tracking of time records, attendance, absenteeism, and attrition
  • Good exposure in recruitment, On-boarding and maintaining the personal records
  • Coordinate with production team for adequate skilled manpower deployment.
  • Should have Pay-Roll Knowledge in SAP & Related T-Codes & its processing in SAP
  • Hands on experience in Handling 1000+ Manpower in a manufacturing unit
  • Having relevant exposure to handle Works Committee / Trade Union
  • Liaise with PF, ESI & DISH Officials, Legal requirements both within TENNECO and Locally.
  • Good exposure on general Administration (Security, Canteen, Transport, House Keeping)
  • Knowledge of Training & development
  • Initiates & manages corrective welfare measures.
  • Prepare & Maintain MIS Reports (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly & Annually)
  • Working knowledge of Manpower Cost & Admin Cost
  • Performs any task/assignment as instructed by the HR Manager
  • Executes these responsibilities and ensures applicable Company Standards are communicated, trained, and implemented and available management systems are adhered.

Ideal candidate experience:

  • Masters Specialization in HR/Labor Laws – MBA/MSW/MHRM with 8+ years’ Experience in HR.

Skills and capabilities (leadership and/or functional):

Major Deliverables and Responsibilities includes,

  • Initiates & manages cordial relationship with management & workers
  • Responsible for Providing & ensuring welfare facilities
  • Supervision on compliance concerning HR policies and practices.

Qualifications/ certifications:
