We are Compliance Engineering, a global team of more than 300 engineers and scientists who work on the most complex, mission-critical problems.

• leverage modern frameworks to build responsive and intuitive front end and Big Data applications.

The firm is making a significant investment to uplift and rebuild the Compliance application portfolio in 2023-2024. 

To achieve this Compliance Engi​​neering is looking to fill few UI/UX engineer roles across different teams.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

We are looking for someone who is an expert in UI design, UX design, and front-end development to join our growing team. You will be a natural at understanding human-computer interaction design (HCID), in coming up with elegant solutions to improve our application, and in developing on technologies like ReactJS, node, Apollo GraphQL, Balsamiq or anything equivalent and build technologies like yarn and npm.

As a member of our team, you will:

• Conduct research and deconstruct our users’ digital interactions and habits.
• Come up with UI and UX strategies based on our target goals.
• Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups using Figma, Balsamiq etc.
• Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code.

QUALIFICATIONS

A successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field of study.
2. 3+ years’ experience as a front-end developer. 
3. 2+ years’ experience as a UI/UX designer.
4. A portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of SOLID design principles (plugins, node packages, etc.
5. Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS preprocessor tools.
6. Expert knowledge of HTML5 and its best practices.
7. Proficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using Balsamiq, Figma or anything equivalent.
8. A history of deconstructing user behavior to create an improved experience for users.
9. Proficiency using Git version control.
10. Proficiency using the command line for build using yarn, npm or node.
11. Knowledge of graphql is highly desirable along with experience in tuning the UI rendering and latency.​

Experience in some of the following is desired and can set you apart from other candidates: 

• API design, such as to create interconnected services, 
• message buses or real time processing,
• relational databases
• knowledge of the financial industry and compliance or risk functions,
• influencing stakeholders.
