Experience: 7+ Years
Location: Pune
Role Description: Java Tech Lead responsible for providing application support to incidents and ensuring deliveries meet the technical specifications and business requirements.
 
Required Skills and Competencies:

• 7+ years' experience (For Leads and less than 7yrs for Jr Developers) Java,J2EE,Web Based application  Development and Support
• Experience in Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (Hibernate)
• Expertise in Business Applications (Java/J2EE, Microservices, multi-threading, Spring,  JDBC, Hibernate, Jquery,  ActiveMQ) and API technologies (Web Services SOAP and REST,  XML/XSD)
• Experience in developing/supporting web applications using at least one popular web framework.
• Experience (hands-on)  on development tools (Eclipse); build tools (Ant, Maven); unit test and test frameworks (JUnit);
• Performance analysis and application profiling ,Tools (GIT SVN, Jenkins, Docker, Team city, SonarQube and Ansible  )
• Good to have experience in Web rich UI (Java, Javascript, Javascript libraries, Angular JS, , Spring MVC, HTML5, Jquery)
• Experience in deployment and troubleshooting Application Servers, such as  WebSphere, Jboss,Tomcat
• Experience with Unix / Linux command line commands and tools.
• Good Problem Solving skills
• Sound interpersonal, communication and team working skills.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
• Flair for creativity and innovation

• Own the entire release from requirement phase till Go-Live.

• Mentor junior team members and bring them to the speed with the help of PM.

• Flexible in working under changing work settings.
• Promptly escalate issues, which affect release delivery and quality.
• Ensure delivery of agreed modules on time with quality and accurate reporting of work.
• Need to ready to work in US Shifts
• Resolve issues proactively to deliver high quality products 
• Good to have – Automation and Agile knowledge

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
• Use and continually develop leadership skills
• Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
