Education: B.E and Above (Electronics and Telecommunication)

Certifications – APEX/PMP/PRICE2 (any one)

Key skills & Experience:

Project Manager/Program Manager/Delivery Management/Project Control and reporting experience

Good understanding in telecom products – Wireline / Wireless* (not mandatory)

Strong Communication and analytical skills
Effective inter-personal, leadership qualities

Workshop leadership and senior stakeholder management, including the ability to lead and steer discussions through to positive outcomes.

Flexible approach and highly self-motivated

Understanding of fulfillment and assurance processes of telecom products
• (not mandatory)

Product understanding in any of the mentioned products – Voice, VPN, LAN, WAN etc.
• (not mandatory)

Change Management, product launch, product development experience

Good MS Office skills- Excel, PowerPoint etc.

Knowledge of Financial and commercial awareness

Desirable experience:

Commercial acumen at both project and programme level e.g
understanding commercial benefits, ability to input to business cases and strategic business roadmap planning

Experience on Product change/launch projects preferably in a Telco environment

A Project Management / Service Management qualification such as Prince, ITIL, PMP, Agile or equivalent

Programme/ Project control and reporting: The ability to set up and provide ongoing management of robust programme/project controls, methodologies and reporting measures as appropriate to the scale and complexity of the work.

Stakeholder Management: The ability to identify, analyse and manage stakeholders at different levels, both within and outside the organisation, to achieve programme/project objectives.

Outcome, benefit and margin management: Able to ensure that the desired outcomes/benefits/margin have been clearly and realistically identified, defined, managed and delivered through to realisation.

Leadership: Ability to lead others through change management activities, which enable the delivery of programme/project objectives
Understands the issues and dynamics of behavioural change on people, process and organisation.

Analysis: The ability to apply logical thinking during the process of gathering and analysing information, testing hypotheses and/or designing and testing solutions
Able to interpret analysis and articulate data to contribute to successful programme/project delivery.

Role & Responsibilities–

Delivery Management/stakeholder management/Program Management

Ability to deal with Senior Stakeholders – Operations/Systems/Product line/Infrastructure

teams.

Chair calls customer senior stakeholders like VP and above

Highlight Risks/issues/status

Prepare various reports as per stakeholders requirements

Own the CoC Launches and drive to completion.

Product understanding – VPN/Telecom/CPE/Cloud.

Change Management

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The Business Change Manager / Tech Mahindra Project Manager (TM PM) project involves the end-toend

delivery of portfolio development requirements, as defined by the Business stakeholder for launch

into Global Tier 1 Telecom service providers Portfolio across the Globe.

The PM's project sponsor is within the Global Tier 1 Telecom service provider Product Management Team.

This team will define their high-level requirements into a Business Case, with defined costs and timescales

for delivery
The TM PM is then responsible for bringing together and leading a Cross Functional Team

across a number of internal and external Business Units, to deliver the requirements through the Portfolio

Development Process (C2M: Concept to Market) and launch as Ready for Service into the Global Tier 1

Telecom service providers portfolio.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

Contribute to the creation of portfolio development roadmaps for specific portfolio areas with

Capability Leads and cross-functional teams
To include initial high-level assessments of

timescales and costs.

Project management of the development and launch of new portfolio developments using the

Global Tier 1 Telecom service providers operating model and C2M processes, across all phases:

justify, define, and develop trial and launch.

Delivery of portfolio developments and launches to time, cost and quality as measured through

agreed objectives and KPIs.

Contribute within the business context of achievement of the relevant business benefits (revenue,

profitability, cost saving, customer experience) as per the approved business cases.

Leadership, management and inspiration of the multifunctional virtual Cross Functional Team

(CFT) in the context of direction setting and motivation of the team in the context of better, faster,

cheaper portfolio development which drives competitiveness and growth and puts the customer

first
Leadership also involves the proactive reflection of market unit and capability unit priorities

into team direction.

Continuous improvement of virtual team performance and stakeholder satisfaction in the context

of better, faster, cheaper portfolio development, which drives competitiveness and growth and

puts the customer first.

Delivery within the business context of achievement of the relevant business benefits (revenue,

profitability, cost saving, customer experience) as per the approved business cases and as

reviewed at Post Investment Reviews

Proactive reflection of market unit and capability unit priorities into team direction.
