Purpose of the Job Role
To be accountable for all aspects of the floor operation handling, working with the supervisors and delivering brand compliant stores that are visually attractive and easy to shop
To maintain operational and stock level efficiency to support store sales
To function as a duty manager in the store in the absence of the Store Manager
Key Accountabilities
Implementation of BU and marketing guidelines.
Ensure store layout is in line with Marks and Spencer layout and guidelines
Be familiar with local competition and respond accordingly in order to create competitive advantage
Line manage Finance and Operations Supervisor and the store team using effective SOP coaching to achieve efficiency
Agree employee rotas and numbers and ensure key seasonal events are effectively staffed
Ensure all health and safety requirements are fully compliant
Enhance sales through analysis of trends such as footfall, conversion, UPT etc
Monitor achievement of sales targets and suggest corrective measure where required
Ensure a smooth and accurate process for stock management in the store
Manage stock loss through reduction of soiled and damaged
Ensure sequential links for layout in consultation with the Visual Merchandiser
Manage and analyze Store Profitability through various report generation
Maintain operational SOPs to adhere operational and financial guidelines intact.
Vendor and facility management to promise operational efficiency solving day to day issues.
To manage, audit (Internal/External) and maintain Fire, Health and safety guidelines.
Cash Management and maintain related SOP
To facilitate repair and maintenance through vendors as and when required.
To do Mall management co-ordination, Ensure payment of bills to ensure a compliant store.
To support HR and Training related SOP
