  • Expert on the following areas - ESXi, NSX, vSAN, VCF, KVM, , Physical Hosting, OS (Win, Lin)
  • Excellent understanding of IT architecture, concepts and solutions and broad foundational knowledge in DC domain
  • Expert in Migrating Windows/Linux workloads using Carbonite Double-Take
  • Design and plan Server migrations-V2V, P2V, etc.,
  • Hypervisor (VMware, HyperV and OVM), Compute (CISCO UCS, Dell EMC, HPE Synergy)
  • Excellent understanding of IT architecture, concepts and solutions and broad foundational knowledge in DC domain
  • Hands-on experience on Cisco / Dell /HPE Blade servers is required
  • Hands-on experience on Windows & Linux OS is required.
  • Capability in understanding and evaluating multi-vendor product offerings
  • Strong experience in Compute hardware sizing for virtualized environment to support production applications as well as VDI solutions.
  • Up to date knowledge and expertise on OS & DB licensing policy for physical, virtual and Cloud environments
  • Deep understanding of two or three virtualization platforms VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V & Red Hat RHEV
  • Deploy and maintain server patching, license solutions
  • Deploy and maintain DR solutions, VMware SRM, Veeam
Technical skills (Required - Nice to have)
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Client ASE or VMware Certified Associate – Data Center Virtualization (VCA-DCV)
  • Migrate Windows/Linux workloads using VMware converter, PlateSpin, Zerto or any competitive tool
  • Provide local teams with in-depth knowledge of new advances in build and implementation.
  • AD knowledge would be preferred
  • Thorough knowledge on DNS, NFS, NTP, RDM and Patch management
  • ITIL V3 Certification

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills;
  • Ability to quickly produce PowerPoint slides which are both content rich and visually appealing

  • Providing technical solutions for managing their content and assets using site core including localization for the respective country.
  • Smooth integration with all the third-party application with the parameters of country, language, category, and product.
  • Develop the POC for successful new approach and pattern.
  • Worked with the offshore team to understand the technical problems they had and got them resolved.
  • Providing an alternate approach and updating the open-source tool to minimize cost.
  • Execute server upgrade and consolidation projects, systems performance management and maintenance, disaster recovery and patch management
  • Coordinate with Cloud and Modernization Leads in the strategic development of technology initiatives to identify infrastructure, product, and system enhancements which may improve operations efficiency, data center efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Provide technical leadership in the areas of systems administration (Windows/Linux), Storage Administration and server patch management,
  • Provide co-ordination of Incidents, Problem Management and Change Management with our internal IT service providers and partners to minimize impact to the business. Closely liaise with Corporate IT and Capital HQ teams on all Infrastructure operations
  • Responsible for resolution of issues escalated from Operations or DOJ that affect customer access to and performance of operations, and webhosting applications
  • Monitor day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure group including downtime, reporting service levels, defining and tracking IT operational metrics and provide status to management
  • Managed a team of engineers and tested build, maintain, migrate strategies
  • Migrated Windows/Linux workloads using Carbonite Double-Take
