Diverse Lynx India Pvt. Ltd. Pune, Maharashtra (Onsite) Full-Time
  Role Senior Business Analyst with broad knowledge of asset management business and technology products.
Primary focus on execution of deliverables, developing solutions based upon subject expertise, and resolving complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required. Key initiatives are the implementation of 3rd party front office trading, compliance and portfolio management system in Canada, US and Bermuda.   Principal Accountability's
  • Actively support IT Relationship Management teams and their business partners
  • Create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems;
  • Translate client requirements into highly specified structured project briefs;
  • Work closely with stakeholders, developers, architects and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;
  • Maintain full and up-to-date understanding of the business strategy, current practices and system capabilities;
  • Manage expectations of the systems users and the business functions when proposed system enhancements have to stand the scrutiny of cost/benefits analysis and justifications;
  • Present proposals to clients;
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business contacts;
  • Create test scenario's and manage the test execution in integrated system tests;
  • Develop expert-level understanding of major local systems;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (FIMs, GSMs, circulars), internal control standards and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group's standards of ethical behavior.
  Management of Risk (Operational Risk / FIM requirements)
Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with section 4 of the Group Operations FIM.
Observation of Internal Controls (Compliance Policy / FIM requirements)
Maintain and observe HClient internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators. Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training are in place and training is provided, and optimizing relations with regulators.   Skills / Experience / Qualifications   • Have an excellent knowledge of the project lifecycle
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment and execute multiple concurrent assignments effectively
• Strong collaboration and relationship management skills, specifically with the business stakeholders
• Good business judgment and capacity to consult on and satisfy business needs
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills
• Strategically astute, able to see the bigger picture. • Four+ years experience working in an Asset management environment with a demonstrated appreciation of the full trade lifecycle.
• Proven ability to implement best in breed portfolio management solutions in a global environment (CRD or AIMs preferable)
• Proven design skills in a multi-system (preferably global or multi-entity) environment
• A strong level of analysis experience and knowledge of structured techniques and Group standards
• Knowledge of derivatives and straight-through processing
• Proven ability to prioritize competing demands • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and follow them through to resolution accurately and in a timely manner
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; i.e. thorough application and metadata documentation skills
• Highly IT Literate (technical awareness would be an advantage, awareness of the software lifecycle would be essential). Knowledge of Oracle, Sybase, J2EE, VBA and scripting is useful
