Staffing Position – AWS Devops Engineer (AWS-Kubernetes)


Short Description:

  • We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer that will help our team establish DevOps practice. You will work closely with the Technical Team to identify and establish DevOps best practices in the company.
  • You will establish configuration management, automate our infrastructure, implement continuous integration, and train the team in DevOps best practices to achieve a continuously deployable system.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology and Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
  • Good Analytical skills, Knowledge of support processes like change and incident management.
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder and Global delivery environments

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
  • Scripting experience preferred including knowledge with Python, Ruby, JS, and PowerShell Scripting
  • Responsible for design, development, implementation, migration, operation improvement and debug cloud environments in AWS Workspaces.
  • Design, Develop, implement, and improve possible automations for AWS Workspaces and O365
  • Implementation of industry standard security practices during implementation.
  • Support Technology Architects in alternate technology solutions blueprint (cloud-based computing, storage, etc.) to build case for legacy technology modernization
  • Defines the Windows desktop images standards, deployment methods and use of supporting tools and technologies: Infrastructure – storage, networking, servers, load balancing, etc.; Anti-virus
  • Responsible for the configuration and setup of backups as well as setup automated AWS patching for Windows and Linux platforms


  • Primary skills:
  • AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm charts, Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD, Monitoring tools, Cloud Formation/Terraform, Python scripting automation etc
  • PowerShell scripting, Automation Tools and Knowledge on AWS Templates
  • Design, build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure - using tools like Git, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Terraforms, Artifactory
  • At least 2 years of experience developing and maintaining a CI/CD system in Production Deep understanding of key AWS Services such as EC2, ECS, ECR, Lambda, FSx, Elastic Cache.
  • Hands-on experience in build and administer VMs and Containers using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Fabric, Puppet, Azure DevOps
  • Monitoring Tools: Splunk
  • Tracking Feature/Bugs tracked within AWS
  • AWS budget and capacity planning
  • AWS support troubleshooting assistance utilizing Internal Microsoft teams and services
  • Track SLAs for Admin Request, Lab work
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools like ServiceNow
  • Knowledge on Atlassian Jira & Confluence
  • Secondary skills (Please mention skill nice to have):
  • Good experience in Operations support.
  • Knowledge of AWS DevOps
  • Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
  • Basic knowledge on all infrastructures related (ex: ESXI, storage, F5, backups, monitoring tools, Palo Alto).

  • Relevant Experience Required- 5+ years
  • Certification (Preferred)–
  • AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
