Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Job Overview                  

Join a new and growing team at Qualcomm focused on advancing state-of-the-art in Machine Learning. The team uses Qualcomm chips’ extensive heterogeneous computing capabilities and engineers them to allow the running of trained neural networks on device without a need for connection to the cloud. Our inference engine is designed to help developers run neural network models trained in a variety of frameworks on Snapdragon platforms at blazing speeds while still sipping the smallest amount of power.

Your work directly impact billions of mobile devices around the world. In this position, you will be responsible for testing as well as the development of test frameworks for Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine SDK (SNPE) and  Qualcomm® AI Engine Direct SDK (QNN).

You will work with neural network frameworks like ONNX,Pytorch, TensorFlow and develop the validation framework to gauge functionality, performance, precision and power of SNPE/QNN. You will work with the latest and greatest DNNs emerging from the research community.

You will also have to keep up with the fast-paced development happening in the industry and academia to continuously enhance our benchmarking and validation infrastructure from software engineering as well as machine learning standpoint.

Minimum Qualifications                           

Expertise in Test Strategy , Test Planning, Test Estimation, developing test cases, automating the tests, test case execution and  troubleshooting/analyzing problems

Prior Functionality and Performance test experience on Embedded systems. Experience in leading test activities and driving design/implementation of test automation framework.

Strong development skills in Python Strong understanding of Machine learning/Deep learning workflows..

Experience with at least one machine learning framework like TensorFlow,  Pytorch etc.

Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, written), Strong problem-solving skills, Good time management skills,, excellent analytical and debugging skills, must be an effective team player, and should be self-driven.

Ability to collaborate across a globally diverse team and multiple interests.

Preferred Qualifications                           

Experience with  testing frameworks like Jasmine, 

(for Electron JS based desktop application)

Experience in programing with a modern programming language like Python, JavaScript and knowledge of related test frameworks

Experience in end-to-end front-end (Web and Desktop) testing & API automation testing, preferably using frameworks like Playwright/Cucumber.

API-Testing: Knowledge of API-level testing in Python, including RESTful web services and We sockets. Familiar with testing using tools like

Knowledge of testing web applications with external dependencies like database, messaging queues and cache

Knowledge of non-functional testing aspects like authentication, security and performance

Work Experience

              9 to 13 years of relevant work experience in software dev/test development

Educational Requirements                       

              Master’s/Bachelor's Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
