Asst. Restaurant Manager

Leads Operational Excellence and the Guest Experience:

  1. Role models expected behavior and coaches team on hospitality standards
  2. Ensures the restaurant meets safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards during shift
  3. Ensures self and team handles all Guest concerns
  4. Solicits and listens to all Guest feedback and provides information to Guest Delight Manager
  5. Empowers the team to satisfy Guest needs and resolve concerns
6. Removes barriers to delivering Hospitality behaviors during shift Builds Team Talent:
  1. Treats all team members fairly and with respect
  2. Supports the training of new team members
  3. Recognizes team members for team contributions
  4. Holds team members accountable for their behavior and performance during shift
  5. Provides coaching to team members to improve performance during shift
  6. Provides communication to team about goals and performance for shift
  7. Brings staffing and performance issues to the attention of Guest Delight Manager
  8. Stays focused on the Guest and accomplishes all work assignments with excellence
  9. Responds positively to coaching and direction given
Drives Sales Growth:
  1. Takes accountability for understanding all in store marketing promotions
  2. Executes new product rollouts including selling to Guests and product execution
  3. Ensures the restaurant is well maintained including cleanliness during shift
  4. Utilizes appropriate suggestive selling
  5. Brings product issues to the attention of Guest Delight Manager
Flexibility and Adaptability:
  1. Acts quickly to solve problems in area of responsibility
  2. Provides feedback and suggestions to improve restaurant performance
  3. Is flexible with work schedule as business needs change including taking breaks
  4. Understands and complies with all procedures and policies
  5. Participates in action plans to address issues and opportunities
  6. Seeks to understand goals and results and how they personally contribute to them
Plans and Communicates:
  1. Discusses issues with other managers
  2. Discusses shift plan with team
  3. Involves entire team by communicating goals, results, and action plans
  4. Makes adjustments to assignments during the shift to achieve goals
  5. Ensures self and team handles all Guest concerns
  6. Ensures each shift is appropriately staffed to meet hospitality with speed goals
