Firewall Specialist
The resource should have expertise in the following technical areas
Juniper
Palo alto firewalls
Responsibilities
2+ years experience in network security administration/engineering in a senior or lead position.
Has experience on administration, troubleshooting device related issues and traffic flow issues, High Availability,
Upgrades
Active Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), JNCIS - SEC, or similar IT certification a plus.
Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to interact with management, vendors and external parties and should be able to effectively communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner. Must be able to thoroughly document implementations, modifications and removals.
Highly organized, self-motivated, able to multi-task, able to work independently as well as a team player.
Analytical and detail orientated.
Must have expertise within the following category and product lines
o Firewall: Juniper (SRX branch and High End), Palo Alto
o IPsec VPN: Palo Alto, Juniper SRX
o Remote Access VPN: Palo Alto Global Protect
o Web Application Firewall: Imperva
o Firewall Management Platform: Junos SPACE, Palo Alto Panorama
o High Availibility: Clustering on Palo Alto and Juniper SRXs
o Scripting: Unix shell, Expect , Python - desired skill would be an added advantage
o Load Balancing: Netscaler - - desired skill would be an added advantage
o Change management: Knowledge of ITIL procedure
Expert knowledge of firewalls and firewall rules.Recommended Skills
