 The Deployment and Automation Engineer role will be responsible for deploying, developing, maintaining, operating and/or implementing new automation deliverables in partnership with external teams like Dev/QA through integration or the dev/ops model resulting in highly available environments and associated systems
 
This role will help deploy , automate and streamline deployment operations / processes.

3 TO 5 YEARS OVERALL Deployment and Automation Engineer , MEETING.
•                                                        PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS – Must be able to perform deployments troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains. Manage project effectively through open, standards-based platforms. Increase project visibility thought traceability.
•                                                        TECHNICAL EXPERTISE – Strong scripting language aptitudes and a team approach providing DevOps Engineer candidate the ability to problem solve and partner with developers to ensure reliable and scalable services on Premises or on cloud.
•                                                        CUSTOMER SERVICE – Must be the one who builds connections and relieves bottlenecks, which is done by talking to people. Aligning Dev and Ops goals for the customer's sake. As a DevOps pro must be able to assess and streamline the goals of Dev and Ops teams towards the common goal to ensure a flawless end user experience
•                                                        ATTENTION TO DETAIL –  Must have the ability with good attention to details. Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. awareness of devOps and Agile principles
 
 
 
Job description:
 

• Deploying and managing multiple environments to support rapid, agile development approaches including PoC environments.
• Documentation of solutions (e.g. data models, deployment architectures configurations, and setup).
• Create estimates (when applicable) for System Design, Development, Testing and / or Implementation.
• Understand the Infrastructure (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) models
• Automate and streamline operations and processes.
• Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test and production environments

Aspiring to be an part of the Release Deployment and Environments team that is tasked to develop cloud native solutions and on Premises solution effectively deploy applications leveraging deployment automation practice to provide value to the Program/Organization.
Need to be a firm beliver that both a high-quality team and high-quality scripting are critical to deliver positive results consistently.
 
Requirements:
 

• Expertise on continuous Integration and deployment on hybrid platforms like on Premises and Cloud
• Strong exposure of complete project development life cycle.
• Understanding of technical / operational bottlenecks in the deployments.
• Strong in analytical, programming and presentation skills knowledge of PowerShell, Git, JSON, BSH incorporated   in deployment automation
• Proficient in automating the Build and Release cycle using TFS - Azure Devops , Octopus Deploy
• Created the complete CI/CD pipeline
• Implemented micro services using Docker and created Docker file and containers.
• Widely used Docker composes for creating the DEV & QA Environments.
• Microsoft Azure PaaS and SaaS solution development technologies including Azure Functions,.NET, JavaScript, Python etc.
• Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools
• Knowledge of deployment orchestration and configuration management tools (Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Dockers, and Kubernetes).

 
 
 
Possession of either the Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions or Architecting Microsoft Azure certification would be a plus
