In Private Wealth Management, we help our clients pursue their wealth management goals through careful advice & astute investment management. PWM Engineering plays a pivotal role in building the tools and applications our business needs to effectively manage and support our client’s diverse requirements. We support the entire user experience starting with onboarding through to trading, reporting, as well as providing clients access to their portfolios online via native iOS and Android apps. We also build and support numerous applications for our Business and Operations users to help them effectively manage risk and provide the best white-glove service possible to our clients.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a competitive & nimble team of engineers building and supporting the Wealth Management business advisors and sales. Candidates will work directly with a variety of stakeholders, including the product, UX team and various engineering teams within the division to build and enhance the state of the art, industry leading, & best in class Wealth Management advisory and sales platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and building applications based on Java stack and industry standard frameworks like Spring. The individual will be able to operate in an Agile environment and oversee the full life cycle development for the services, working with product, development, BA, and PM teams following the Agile/SCRUM methodology.

Your Impact

• We are hiring associates for the WM Advisor Engineering team who will be primarily responsible to design and build applications for WM Advisors to manage and track client’s portfolio efficiently. A wide range of functions will be implemented in the new Advisor Platform and the team will also be responsible to build features to integrate the new functions with the trading platform for a seamless experience to the advisors.

Basic Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience with Java 8+ in all phases of software development.
• Hands on development background and recent experience developing and implementing Java, Springboot based applications.
• Experience with Git, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
• Experience with build and development tools like Gradle and Maven.
• Experience with Linux / Unix environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and applying them to improve our products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Mongo DB or any NoSQL database is preferrable.
• Exposure to front-end technologies like Angular or React is preferrable.
