Job Location: vashi, Mumbai
Experience: 9+ Years
Responsibilities:
Act as technical expert on Linux and open source technologies Provide Level 3 support on Servers, Linux OS and related products Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex problems Deploy and support servers, cloud platform, datacenter IT infrastructure and Linux systems Install, configure and support applications on Linux servers like Apache, PostgreSQL etc
Prepare HLD & LLD , process and technical documentation Participate in creating datacenter and cloud solutions Provide improvement opportunities and recommendations on customer's infrastructure Install, configure and support open source monitoring and management tools
Perform tool evaluation and produce recommendations Work with Global IT support groups, OEMs, vendors, partners and service providers Provide training to operations team (L1/L2) Learn and keep up-to-date with the latest technology products
Skills:
Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing Proven ability to document technical information for training, technical operations run books, and knowledgebase Proven ability to create technical design documentation using MS Visio Strong analytical skills for solving technical issues, isolation of application / network performance / server / storage issues Proven ability to work cross functional with application, network, security and workplace teams
Strong understanding of all current technologies and ability to ramp quickly on emerging technologies Excellent concept and troubleshooting of Linux OS level, networking and firewall issues Strong knowledge on system recovery, performance tuning parameters and analysis Strong knowledge and experience on virtualization VMware/KVM/XEN and Cloud ( Azure/AWS) Strong knowledge and experience on server rack/blade servers, HCI ( Cisco UCS, VxRail, Nutanix etc.) Strong scripting knowledge for systems automation (shell/python/Perl etc.) Good knowledge and experienced on Containers and Dockers Solid experience with OpenStack/CloudStack, or other cloud management frameworks (deployment, configuration, operations) Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, datadog etc Experience with configuration management frameworks (e.g., Puppet, Chef)
Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalls Experience on managing DNS,DHCP, LDAP, NTP, OS firewall, etc.
Certification:
Red Hat / SUSE / Oracle /Citrix certification VMware certification Cisco UCS/VxRail/Nutanix certification Azure/AWS certification DevOps certification is added advantage
