Proficy Support Consultant

Inviting applications for the role of Proficy Support Consultant
In this role, you would be primary responsible for managing and supporting Proficy applications.
Responsibilities
•Manage and support Proficy Process Systems for automation
•Manage wing-to-wing ticket responses including, but not limited to, backlog reduction, recurring case prevention (ticket reduction), closure code, and appropriate priority setting, RCA using RTS processes.
•Manage and resolve production incidents. Covers system outages, job failures, system defects, data defects and end user support.
•Provide "Break Fix" solutions by fixing appropriate software code.
•Respond to predefined Performance and Availability alerts on an application(s) or interface job(s) when sensed as "down” or "slow”.
•Execute and manage day-to-day operations via RTS ticketing tools and processes
•Establish and maintain a standardized documentation process and create missing support documentation and test scripts as required by the RTS team.
•Report status and metrics on a regular basis in a format approved by RTS Technical Leader.
•Proactively monitor the Performance & Availability of the application (production environment) at regular intervals and report any malfunctions to application owners immediately.
•Functional support
•Ensure appropriate tool is updated in accordance to SLA specifications with case notes, status updates and case closure information.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications
•B. Tech. / Graduate /MCA
•Min. 3-5 years of experience in Proficy, process automation, control solutions
•Knowledge in VB, PL/SQL, MySQL preferred
•Written and verbal communication in English at level B2 / C1.
•Ability to analyses data.
•The ability to communicate, friendly and cultural behavior during customer contact.
•Strong customer focus
•Willingness and ability to multi-task.
•Willingness to learn the Product/Platform and associated technologies.
•Ability to be learn and apply new processes and tools
Shift:
•Day/Evening- Flexible to rotational shifts- as the candidate may have to work with global teams in different time zones.
