The Role
Join us as a Test Analyst, and manage the End to End testing activities (Manual and Automation) related to Customer Communications Hub / Messaging for Personal & Business Banking customers.


What the Business does
The Customer Messaging platform provides a range of Customer Communication Channels to multiple franchises across Personal & Business Banking and other key divisions of the bank globally. The team has a mix of qualified Work Stack Manager, Business Analysts, Process Engineers and Subject Matter Experts who face off to multiple key business stakeholders and provides services mainly for the Retail - Personal customers (including Private customers) & Corporate customers using Branch, eBanking, CAO & Telephony channels for the core & offshore brands.

This role is based in the Customer Messaging Team at Engage with the Bank Platform under Digital Distribution Domain.


Your Responsibilities
As a Test Analyst your key responsibilities will include:

• Understanding of functional and Business requirement to understand the testing scope.
• Create Testing artefacts - Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Scripts, Test Completion Report(Functional and Non Functional side).
• Participate in System Testing, System Integration Testing, E2E and UAT Testing.
• Test Execution Activities Manual and Automation
• Creation, updation and execution of regression automation pack / suite within given timelines
• Automated regression scenarios to be used as regression tests during E2E QA cycles.
• Defect Management which includes defect logging in JIRA.
• Provides accurate status on deliverables and identify risks / issues & communicate.
• Involved in Defect Management lifecycle i. raising the defect and tracked till it get closure.
• Experience of working in project using Agile mythologies.
• Experience of using JIRA, Confluence tools
• Experience of doing Non Functional testing- Performance/Volume (Preferable to have tool exposure)
• Ability to work independently with proper test status reporting to various stakeholders
• Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with ability to multi-task under pressure

The Skills you'll need
In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following skills & experience:

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Testing in the software industry with 3+ years of automated testing experience in regression, integration, and automated functional testing with practical experience in using automation tools such as Selenium.
• Good understanding of the full software project lifecycle.
• Carryout Unit, Shakedown testing and support other levels of testing including SIT, UAT, OAT etc, Other skills: XML, Restful
• Reviewing Documents, Creation of Test Strategy, TRA, Test Plans, Test Conditions/Scripts.
• Updating Platform Documentation with testing being carried out,Defect Management etc Support other phases of Testing that is being carried out by the Programme Team
• Have demonstrated experience of working on Java.
• Experience of doing testing on Informatica- ETL tool,
• Experience of doing Non Functional Testing- Volumetric/Performance
• Hands-on experience in Database and Quality Center / JIRA.
• Distributed platform experience (Windows / Linux / UNIX Unix Shell Scripting).
• Good experience in developing automated test cases/scenarios.
• Test automation preparation and execution
• Detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Performing the Risk Analysis and reporting timely manner
• Have demonstrated experience of working on REST API, XML SOAP UI & web services.
• Have solid understanding of Agile Methodology and concepts such as backlog using tools such as Jira
• Have experience working SQL queries
• Good experience in developing automated test cases/scenarios.
• Detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
