  Prime Responsibility will be:

• Collaborate with business partners to gather functional tax requirements.
• Understand business requirements, product gaps/requirement gaps and drive feature choices.
• Document the functional requirements. Breaking down high-level milestones into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive functional backlog prioritization and lead various requirement discussions for product enhancements.
• Co-ordinate communication, escalate and facilitate resolution of risks, issues and changes tied to the Product Backlog.
• Effectively partner with Operations and technology delivery teams QA teams through gathering detailed requirements and presenting the business value.
• Demonstrate the products and functionalities to the business.
• Provide production level support for operational go-live and ongoing deployment validation of new functionality.
• Provide clear direction to project team members on prioritization of functional requirement delivery timelines, per the expectation of business partners.
• Perform ROI analysis on new feature / functional requests from business partners.
• Review and approve QA test cases.
• Prepare User Manual, SOP’s and other relevant functional product documents.
• Have the ability to be able to work with complex cross functional teams: Engineers, Architects, governance & business partners.

  Requirement and experience:

• CA with 10-15 years of experience in tax management with minimum of five years’ experience in Corporate Tax.

• Strong understanding and experience in managing personal income tax, indirect taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST).
• Proven experience in developing and executing technology projects, meeting deadlines and operating under tight time constraints.
• Sharp attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills with demonstrated experience in making articulate and effective presentations to different audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including such areas as team spirit, negotiation, collaboration, valuing and respecting team members.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve conflicts across technology and business partners.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and calculated risk-taking.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
