Your key accountabilities
Project Execution
  • Provide input into project timelines, estimation, action plans and risk management procedures
  • Plan, communicate and execute project deliverables and milestones, ensuring progress in time and budget
  • Ensure timely completion of work packages in line with project deadline and schedule
  • Act as a proxy customer facilitating open communication between the customer and technology teams
  • Interact and work with third party partners and suppliers as required

Requirements Planning and Management
  • Work with Project Managers and Business Sponsors to agree on the Terms of Reference
  • Ensure that all Stakeholders have a common understanding of what is being delivered
  • Ensure the set of High Level Requirements proposed during assessment are still valid
  • Be self sufficient in identifying and understanding business requirement/issues
  • Identify & escalate as appropriate, issues & instances where an agreed target or deadline is at risk or will not be met
  • Work across multiple projects/streams concurrently
Requirements Analysis and Documentation
  • Select and perform appropriate elicitation techniques to efficiently identify requirements
  • Drive customer journey meetings and workshops to capture best practice customer experiences
  • Capture and map target business AS-IS processes and carry out gap analysis against the proposed TO-BE state.
  • Produce in-depth data maps, models and analysis.
  • Produce different forms of analysis documentation to an appropriate and agreed level of depth
  • Produce Business Requirements and Functional Specification documents
  • Deliver presentation or workshop sessions on requirements to stakeholder groups across the globe
  • Regularly review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, estimates and recommendations relating to the proposed solution, to ensure they are up to date throughout the life cycle of the project
Embedding (e.g. Testing, Training, Support, Process Re-engineering etc)
  • Support the Test function with knowledge that aids test scripting & execution, including handovers & walkthroughs
  • Work with the Test team to define defects, acceptable tolerances within various types of testing
  • Recognise the need and take ownership to ensure staff are provided with any training required
Your skills and experience
Knowledge:
  • Business Analysis experience including project management and execution methodologies
  • Financial Services and/or Consultancy experience
  • Good understanding of data and data modelling to assist with systems integration planning
  • Knowledge of Billing systems and/or Financial Modelling
  • Business Analysis qualification (e.g. ISEB) or equivalent
  • Interaction of billing systems with ERP Hyperion/Oracle product sets
  • Proficient in MS Visio
  • Process mapping standards e.g. IDEF0, SIPOC
  • Project lifecycle: Waterfall and Agile

  • Excellent requirements analysis and consultative skills, with a logical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to operate effectively with limited oversight
  • Excellent communication (written & oral), interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment with speed and discipline
  • Confident working with senior management across multiple business areas
  • Ability to review proposed solutions and make recommendations
