Transaction Banking and Other - Product Management - Associate - Bengaluru

Platform Solutions Description

In Platform Solutions (PS), we power clients with innovative and customer-centered financial products. We bring the best qualities of a technology player and combine that with the best attributes of a large bank. PS is comprised of four main businesses, underpinned by engineering, operations, and risk management:

  • Transaction Banking, a cash management and payments platform for clients building a corporate treasury system
  • Enterprise Partnerships, consumer financial products that companies embed directly within their ecosystems to better serve their end customers
  • Merchant Point-of-Sale Lending, a platform that provides custom credit financing for home improvement merchants to offer directly to their customers
  • ETF Accelerator, a platform for clients to launch, list and manage exchange-traded funds

Transaction Banking Digital Payments Product Analyst/Associate 

The Product Analyst/Associate is tasked with delivering the most advanced product and service engagements and also managing teams developing product ecosystems within a program of work. The Product Analyst/Associate is responsible for developing the engagement strategy and successfully executing it across their business, ensuring smooth overall product development.

They play a strategic role in the global life cycle management of the businesses’ product vision, roadmap, and execution for the overall product segment, and embody the voice of the customer. They have a user-centric focus and partner closely with UX and technology leads to define and create the overall product strategy, document requirements for design and engineering partners, delivery and go-to-market plan that aligns with business goals. 

The Role:

We are looking for a digitally savvy Product Analyst/Associate to deliver digital payment capabilities for our global customers, internal service and operations teams on web portals. The Digital Payments Product Analyst/Associate works in close partnership with other global product managers, engineers, design, client service, implementations and operations. The Product Analyst/Associate leads innovation in digital payment space, supporting strategy definition and ensuring smooth overall execution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute against global payments product strategy to buildout our digital offering to clients
  • Deliver best-in-class digital features to support payment lifecycle management by end users
  • Work as the unifying element between business, design, engineering and operations to execute the product strategy
  • Document clear user stories and acceptance criteria to inform and guide user interface design, technology development, and testing resources
  • Identify and communicate opportunity for efficiencies or growth within the product as they arise
  • Focus on risk controls and call out threats to product as they arise
  • Understand product development methodologies and strategies needed to fulfill delivery
  • Validate digital payment features post-launch
  • Communicate within the team and to internal stakeholders about digital payments product roadmap, capabilities, and client offering
  • Train internal stakeholders on digital payment features

Ideal candidate has:

  • Experience as a digital product manager, business analyst, or as payments product manager
  • Experience writing user stories in JIRA
  • Experience with Confluence, MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Experience in balancing customer’s outcomes, business needs, technical feasibility and delivery given constrained resources and timeline
  • Inclusive Culture: Considerate to the cultural differences of team and a diverse user-base

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in digital product management, payments product management or business analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
  • At least 3 years of experience working with digital products or payment products
  • At least 3 years of experience in Agile and waterfall SDLC with exposure or understanding of full stack development, End to End testing, and post launch validations
  • MBA or Master’s degree
  • Certifications or hands on experience with agile or other relevant product development methodologies
