General Summary:

Come join the Global CAD team that delivers SoC Design tools, flows, and methodologies for worldwide products. The team is seeking a lead for DFT CAD tools development. The successful candidate will manage a team involved in the automation and deployment of DFT software that reduces test cost, increases product quality, and enhances yield learning on leading edge process technologies. The candidate should have solid hands-on experience with industry standard DFT techniques such as scan, MBIST & ATPG, experience in people management in high-paced development environments, and preferably exposure to post-silicon activities and yield improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Design for Test Tools and Flow development
  • Experience in leading DFT architecture and test methodology
  • Demonstrated leadership in development and deployment of Test solutions for Memory and Logic BIST, SCAN, ATPG, Silicon debug
  • Experience with industry EDA tools like Tessent: RTL, IJTAG, SSN, ATPG; Synopsys: TestMAX, SMSBIST, DC/FC and Cadence : Genus
  • Coordination experience with Design team, CAD and EDA vendors
  • Strong coding experience with hands on experience using Python or/and TCL
  • Strong analytical debug and creative problem-solving skills
  • Experience in directly managing a medium sized team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or equivalent) with 18+ years industry experience.


Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
  • 20+ years in DFT, CAD, or related work experience.
  • Expertize in the automation, implementation, or verification of advanced DFT/DFD (Design for Test/Design for Debug) techniques for low power and multi voltage domain designs.
  • Research and Development of EDA DFT CAD tools.
  • Automotive DFT solutions including In-system Test
  • Strong programming skills in Python or/and TCL
  • Detailed Understanding of core-based test methodology and scan isolation.
  • Detailed Knowledge of various fault models such as Stuck-at, Transition, Path Delay, Gate-Exhaustive, IDDQ, and Cell Aware.
  • Detailed Knowledge in JTAG, Scan Compression, ATPG, Fault Simulation and at-speed testing.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.                     
  • Masters or PhD degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Key Words: BIST, DFT, ATPG
