UNIX admin

Experienced in a wide range of system support and solution based IT services for Linux and Solaris systems including, troubleshooting, monitoring, configuring and maintenance of operating system

Unix/Linux system administrator experience include :

Installing and configuring of Solaris 10 & 11 on SPARC & Client, and Red Hat based systems (RHEL, OEL) versions 5, 6, and 7

Installed and configured Oracle software virtualization (Zones/LDOMS)

Created, expanded, resized quota, assigned mount points on ZFS file system on Solaris 10, and/or 11, and using LVM in Linux

Used Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) and LVM command line commands to create , grow and or mirror new volumes and files systems

Setup NFS implementation using both static mount points and auto mount

Patching Solaris 10 and Linux servers
