Senior Developer, Data Analytics

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in roadmap for actionable insights and business intelligence solutions related to reporting, analytics, data modeling and data integration
• Lead the team to identify and analyze reporting needs, conduct requirements gathering, define scope and objectives, and deliver reports and dashboards that turn data into insights through effective visualizations, Dashboards, Looks, and Explores
• Collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders on building an analytics solution across TTEC
• Manage all aspects of our Looker development and deployment from configuration to security, to end-user experience. Surface data points in BigQuery using LookML & Model data and work to optimize our data warehouse
• Set policies, standards and best practices for Business Intelligence
• Build BI and Looker Center of Excellence to incorporate best practices and lesson learned along with enhancing the BI and Looker capabilities across the organization.
• Apply a comprehensive knowledge of business intelligence leading practices to the execution of broad-scope initiatives intended to achieve strategic goals and objectives
• Lead multiple key projects, processes and programs that require advanced technical knowledge and advanced knowledge of tools as well as applications related to data analysis and reporting
• Mentor and coach, a team of Business Intelligence Developers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 6-9 years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse
• 3+ years of experience on using business intelligence reporting tools - Looker
• Lead the BI Development team with extensive Looker experience
• Proficient in dashboarding/BI tools (i.e., Google Data Studio, Looker and Power BI)
• Knowledge of data management fundamentals, data storage principles, Data Modeling, and Data Architecture
• Familiar with data/data warehousing tools such as MS-SQL, GCP-Big Query, or related databases
• Proficient in managing all aspects of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse development.
• Strong mentorship / teaching ability. Empathetic and approachable.
• Can juggle multiple priorities. Strong analytical, problem-solving ability.

Preferred qualifications:

• Looker and LookerML Certifications
