The HR Systems Engineer partners closely with the HR Shared Services organization and HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) to ensure the systems that support the HR function are operating as expected and are ready to successfully support the HR programs and business cycle processes, such as compensation planning, talent acquisition, talent management and other HR initiatives.

The HR Systems Engineer is a critical role providing systems support to the members of our Human Resources Team and global workforce through issue management for all HR solutions, primarily Workday but including ServiceNow, Silkroad, Kronos, Glint, and Cornerstone. This person will partner closely with other members of the HR Systems and IT teams to ensure operational readiness and stability for all HR systems, whether newly implemented or already in production.

Your day to day

  • Responsible for Administration and Maintenance activities of our HR Systems inclusive of cyclical and hygiene tasks. 

  • Administer system accesses to ensure Least Privileged Access.

  • Lead required auditing processes and cycles, gathering documentation on controls and creating any needed remediation plans. 

  • Research system issues, partner with other HR Systems Configuration and Dev teams and other required parties to obtain root cause analyses, implement appropriate solutions, and determine necessary actions and communication requirements.

  • Ensures that HR systems meet business needs.

  • Identifies options for potential improvements and assesses them for both technical and business suitability.

  • Strives to automate processes to eliminate waste and drive efficiency in the organization, and leverage return on technological capabilities.

  • Provide pre and post-launch end-user support, change management, issue resolution, testing, training.

  • Participate in the regular review and prioritization of HR systems optimization opportunities.

  • Actively participates in system related projects and initiatives, including UAT.

  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades and patches.

  • Assist in conduct system related training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation.

  • Upload documents/notifications/ Edit Candidate Portals to ensure tasks stay up to date.

  • Coordinate with vendor to facilitate New Hire Documentation changes and provide day-to-day operational support  

What do you need to bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience, preferably in Management Information Systems or Computer Science

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on Systems Analyst experience with HR software applications / HR Information systems, specifically Workday or ServiceNow required. Additional experience with HR Systems is a plus.

  • Demonstrated history of significant customer deliverables, building rapport, and influencing decisions working in a consultative role with customers

  • Results orientation
