Job Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible to maintain/develop hardware testing application that company uses to test all its products. You will be also working on developing some applications that will be incorporated in Iron System's products.
- Contribute to the design, implementation and extension of hardware test framework and harness design by developing testing modules that can test specific hardware components of computer system and/or measure their performance.
- Create and maintain high quality architecture and design documents including feature specifications, design specifications, flow diagrams and process diagrams.
- Create small scripts/programs to automate tasks such as software deployment, disk imaging and hardware related problems troubleshooting.
- Working with partners to integrate their software solutions in products developed by company.
- Communicate with other departments such as Manufacturing, Product Engineering and QA to integrate their feedback into software developed.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent.
- Strong programming experience in Python (OOP), Tkinter, QTP and Shell/bash. Experience with PHP will be plus
- Working with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL database (basic queries)
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components
- Strong experience with Linux and understanding of Linux Kernel and networking tools
- Experience working in C/C++ is major plus
- Experience working with system programming is major plus
