Role purpose and contribution
The CPQ Solutions Developer will develop, design and deploy CPQ solutions. (S)He will support the day to day CPQ operations and continuous improvements required to provide ATI a quality CPQ environment on time and on budget. The measures of success in this role will be aligned to agreed project milestones and deliverables.

In addition, this role will work closely with other developers and project team members on major system modifications and upgrade projects. The successful candidate should serve as an internal consultant providing technical guidance to realise industry best practices; provide guidance and specialized technical knowledge to other Global IT department engineers and staff, ERP developers, analysts, users and ERP process owners.


Role Accountabilities Accountability Actions and Measures CPQ Developer

  • Develop, design and deploy product or logic configuration models to support Product Compliance, Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing and requirements from product design to product deployment.
  • Employ various tools and processes to complete data analysis from a variety of data sources for use by product configurator application.
  • Apply general programming skills across a variety of CPQ applications.
  • Willingness to learn new programming skills requirements specifically for product configuration.
  • Work within a data validation strategy, methodology to insure data accuracy.
  • Create and design data validation tools to facilitate CPQ solutions data maintenance.
  • Facilitate the data validation from source to target objects: data profiling, data extraction, data mapping, data cleansing, data transformation, data loading, data verification.
  • Liaise with Data Owners and Users to resolve issues and close gaps.
  • Raise, document and manage risks and issues using reporting and governance requirements.
  • Participate in the scoping and planning of new configurator models.
  • Suggest other areas of the business that the CPQ applications team can support and improve current or new process.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the SF and Enterprise Applications team where required.

Experience & Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required.

Experience:
  • 5+ years Oracle CPQ experience, preferably in a developer role
  • Fluency in core CRM concepts with a strong analytical mindset
  • Background in Microsoft SQL, specifically SQL Server Management Studio
  • Background in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
  • 5+ years Visual Studio VB.Net, C++, C#
  • Preferably experience in product configuration and configurator applications
  • Preferably experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Preferably experience working with Oracle connectors
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work within a complex environment with strong technical/analytical skills
  • Constant communication with colleagues, works well in a team environment
  • High degree of problem-solving ability
  • Organised, systematic, thorough, accurate and disciplined
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to details, deadlines and reporting
  • Knowledge of AGILE/SCRUM Processes
  • Good to have: experience in manufacturing company and highly regulated industries
  • Good to have: 1-2+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, AX 2012
  • Experience in ERP business processes
  • Must be able to read and test code
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with business and functional resources to develop sustainable business solutions.
  • Candidate must be willing to work varied hours, supporting Australian and United States business hours.
  • Some on-call support is also a requirement.
