Elevator SME
- Experience in R&D Design of Elevators & Escalators
- Familiar with different standards, codes and regulations used in the Elevator Industry
- Providing Innovative solutions to need of customer
- Innovative design of components / mechanical assemblies to meet the product technical requirement and the program cost, timing & quality objectives
- Expertise in Elevator or escalator system, drive, machinery, control system, visual design
- Providing guidance to the team on the Elevator/Escalator design
- Drive the results of the team to meet time and quality standards
- Must be able to manage work process to ensure talent is used effectively
- Ability to coach and provide feedback
- Must be able to professionally interact with customers
- -Participate in sales efforts of Major Projects as needed
- -Analyze projects at Schindler over $3M using Major Project Executive Summary (MPEX) tool.
- -Communicate with Project Managers the financial standing of the job and areas of concern.
- -Provide the necessary training to project managers to ensure compliance with Company process and Group standard
- -Hold Monthly review meetings for each project with project team and management team.
- -Report on higher level projects from $3M and above to District and Territory management.
- -Work to improve all Project Management and installation tools
- Plan, monitor and control all aspects of the fulfillment of large projects and lead all involved to achieve objectives on time and to specified cost, quality, safety, performance and customer satisfaction.
