Business Consultant

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drive growth of the Professional Services by pro-actively identifying and promoting growth opportunities with Business Development and the delivery of the Global go-to-market model.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to front line account teams in the entire journey of identifying new opportunities, developing capabilities, solutions and service offerings, pursuing go-to-market campaigns, landing wins, and delivering customer success.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities at existing clients and follow through on such opportunities.
  • Lead and drive Global Professional Services `engagements, working alongside team members from the Professional Services organization.
  • Indirect/Direct consulting to clients
  • Provide mentoring, thought leadership and quality measurements on an ongoing basis
  • Develop high-level implementation plans that are executable by the client.
  • Work with product, sales and clients to educate on the value of business consulting and benefits of additional relevant solutions.
  • Establish working relationships within the chosen partner ecosystem, internally and externally
     
Education & Experience
  • Minimum of 5-years business development or direct consulting  experience  in finance domain within a services firm, consulting firm, regulatory body or large financial institution
  • Subject matter expertise in the areas of financial domain, performance management and metrics, business analysis, quality management and training
  • Experience across multiple markets, across multiple countries.
  • Demonstrable business development experience focused on solutions with a significant services component
  • Evidenced track record in developing opportunities and selling services to a client base
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • MBA/MSc preferred; BA/BS in relevant field required
  • Professional qualification in compliance from either ICA or ACAMS preferred, but not a must

  • Outstanding customer facing skills, presenting, and selling.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate value propositions and influence at all levels of an organization, including C-level executives and decision makers.

  • High level of accountability at the individual level; service and support that exceeds client needs.
  • Self-motivated to strive for professional excellence in all aspects of work.
  • Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently.
  • Capable of working on multiple overlapping tasks in a fast-paced environment “Can-Do” attitude and problem-solving approach
  • Ability to articulate oneself both, verbally and in writing.
 
Technical/Domain Knowledge & Experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrable knowledge of database functionality and SQL
  • Excellent understanding of one or more – Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening, KYC/CDD 
  • Knowledge of core business domains i.e. strategy, operations, data analysis techniques
