General Summary:

The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans and cases, maintaining and adding to existing test methodologies, continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, identify areas for automation, and development of toolsets to augment QA and Development testing. • The SDET will work closely with Software Developers, QA Engineers, and Project Managers in small scrum teams to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner. • Specific duties and responsibilities include creating, maintaining and executing test plans and cases against internal software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating results, defect tracking, participation of daily QA activities, and quality of software deployments end to end. You will be expected to improve overall time to market through performance, scaling, and automation approaches. Skills/Experience: - 1-3 years of work experience in Linux development and testing on embedded systems software and APIs. - Strong knowledge of C, Data structures and Kernel internals - Good debugging skills with understanding of ARM CPU architecture - Prior development working experience with Android kernel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Hands-on debugging skills in the lab using standard lab equipment to debug the system. - Strong scripting knowledge in Python and shell. - Detail oriented, thorough and analytical approach required with excellent communication skills. - Ability to drive through all obstacles, collaboration with global team in other geo
