Senior Unified Communications Engineer

Ttec Hyderabad, Telangana (Onsite) Full-Time

What You’ll Do

Looking for an opportunity to be a part of an amazing technical team focusing on all aspects of the Network and Security infrastructure supporting our global presence?  You’ll have operational responsibility to support Voice and Collaboration technology verticals, including Implementation, and operational support. You’ll manage the ongoing operations of all the company’s communications Infrastructure elements, including SIP, VoIP, CCAIP and collaboration platforms like Zoom and Teams.

You’ll optimize the performance and availability of secure communications infrastructure through the application of best practices such as troubleshooting, maintenance, new client implementations, performance monitoring, and recommend appropriate course of actions and methodologies to achieve success. Utilizing tools like NetScout, NetScore, Wireshark and Ribbon, to manage our voice networks and SaaS platforms. You’ll mentor more junior employees; help develop the latest in communications topologies and advance our network and security to the next level.

You'll report to the VoIP and Collaboration sustainment service manager ensuring that TTEC networks are the backbone of our operations, and make sure we can communicate with each other, and making all our customer interactions amazing.

During a Typical Day, You’ll

•        Monitoring vendor interaction with company’s network and edge services / devices; identifies issues and provides guidance/support through to resolution. Ensures the timely delivery of required services.

•        Maintains and liaison with equipment manufacturers' and other vendors' support teams to ensure satisfactory support levels and resolution of issues.

•        Assisting in the maintaining and implementation of company’s technology operations, including goals, priorities and policies relating to company’s information and compliance management.

•        Manages the ongoing support and configuration of all elements of the company’s voice and communications network, Including SIP, Bria, H.323, QoS, CCAIP, Ribbon, Teams, Avaya and other voice systems.

•        Be a critical member of our technical support staff in maintaining efficient operation of company’s Collaboration and communication systems.

•        Implements and maintains data network devices to provide for the 24x7x365 availability of the technology environment.

•        Exceptional documentation and communication skills in English.

 

What You Bring to the Role

•        Flexible person with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to rapidly changing environments and requirements.

•        Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-cultural, customer-oriented environment.

•        Ability to work days, evenings, and overnights; with weekends and after-hours on-call as required; 24x7 support.

•        Requires a minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in the network and security engineering.

•        Proficient working knowledge and implementation skills of SIP, Ribbon, Avaya, Bria and Cisco voice devices and associated technologies

•        Deep understanding of cloud voice platforms, CCAIP, Teams, Teams Voice, Zoom and Zoom Voice.

•        Working knowledge of voice protocols and codex including but not limited to H.323, QoS,  G729 and routing protocols including EIGRP and BGP.

•        Advanced understanding of Info Barriers and conditional access policies, voice setup and SIP porting to MS Teams.

•        Working knowledge of Cloud platform connectivity and Quality of Service technologies with demonstrated implementation in a large enterprise organization. (CCAIP, Teams, Zoom)

•        Mid-level certification or equivalent experience with GCP, Cisco, Palo Alto or industry standard. (GCCAIP, MCMMT, PCNSA, SSCP or equivalent work experience of 4-7 years).
