_PostgreSQL
- Deep Experience in Designing, Building and automating the Database Architecture for PostgreSQL and Mysql
- Define and design logical and physical database design
- Design single\multi-data center architectures for high availability & Disaster Recovery
- Experience in automating database build / provisioning using shell/ powershell/python/ansible or any other scripting technologies
- Define plan and strategy to upgrade and migrate large\very large databases to private\hybrid cloud
- Good command on advanced technologies like Clustering, Replication, Consolidation
- Establish security standards and hardening procedures for different database environments.
- Design backup strategy and recovery plans to meet RPO & RTO
- Experience with multi-tier infrastructures (hybrid and cloud environments)
- Perform performance tuning, capacity planning and management
- Define plan and strategy to upgrade, consolidate and migrate large\very large PostgreSQL databases to private\hybrid cloud
- Prepare Migration strategies and perform migration of databases including Packages, Procedures, functions and other database objects
