Procurement Specialist
Location-Bangalore
Designation; Tactical sourcing (Procurement)
The procurement Specialist shall be leading tactical requests for the Group IT stakeholders. The lead shall also be working closely with key decision makers in Group IT such as CTO and CIO.
Description:- The buyer would receive Software quote requests on daily basis. These Software requirements shall be for low value spend. The buyer would need to quickly validate on few prerequisites such as IT Security, new or existing Software etc. The buyer would need to obtain quick quotes from the supplier and obtain PO placement details from the stakeholders. Validate the quote with the requirement and negotiate where needed. Also negotiate on EULA (End User Licensing Agreement) where needed. The role also is to collaborate with cross functional teams such as legal, SAM(Software Asset management) team etc and keeps the stakeholders constantly updated about the status of the quote/PO. The individual will be obtaining quick quotes from various software vendors from across the globe and compare. The buyer is also responsible for negotiating the final proposal. Once the quote is accepted by the stakeholders, PO is placed with appropriate invoicing details with the supplier. Further follows until the licenses are delivered to the relevant stakeholders. Quick TAT plays key role in this as the inflow of requests shall be on daily basis.
