Java/J2EE - MUMBAI
Role: Java Developer
Work Location: Mumbai, India
Relevant Experience: 3+ years
Technical/Functional Skills:
Java (versions 1.6 and higher), Strong in core java modules, Design patterns, Junit testing, object Oriented design and principles. Familiarity with continuous or automated build tools, change management/release management process using tools such as SVN
E2 - Expertise in server-side J2EE or core Java
E2 - Excellent working Knowledge of Hibernate, Spring
E2 - Experience with various design patterns and their implementations.
E1 - Experience with databases like Oracle. SQL script writing skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance proprietary Java applications.
- Should understand the complex design aspects of Java (like various design patterns, application architecture design techniques etc.) and interact with customer on highly complex technical issues independently.
- Analyzing, estimating, sizing, and working on user stories for projects (Agile SCRUM, Iterative, and Waterfall)
- Provide second tier support for proprietary applications and related batch processing.
- Work with the IT team to establish best practices
