Job Description:     

SUMMARY:

Invest One is the system that provides Portfolio Accounting services for most GSAM Product Lines and Investment Strategies. It is licensed to GSAM by the application vendor SunGard. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Intermediate level system analysis, design, development, implementation and support for GSAM Portfolio Accounting system Invest One. 
• Monitoring of existing production processing schedule  and resolution of day to day technology as well as functional issues
• The candidate will also be responsible for coding, testing, debugging, implementation, documentation , and development of Cobol/CICS/DB2  programs and JCL’s
• The candidate must have good interpersonal/communication skills and be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
• Must be motivated and a self-starter with a minimal amount of direction who is adaptable to a dynamic IT environment as priorities change with the need of our business.
• The candidate will be required to work in global  team environment  communicating with multiple IT teams as well as our business users

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of overall work experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS development in a Mainframe environment
• Additional experience with Java in a distributed environment is also valuable.
• Exposure to UNIX shells and scripting (csh, sh, ksh, sed, awk) a plus
