General Summary:

• Define comprehensive test plans encompassing design verification, system testing, and compliance testing for systems integrating Platform and Multimedia software.
• Drive the development of testing processes, including the definition and implementation of test system hardware and software for both manual and automated testing.
• Collaborate closely with both local and remote teams to diagnose and resolve issues, as well as implement automotive features.
• Take charge of day-to-day testing activities, including conducting sanity checks, ensuring system stability, evaluating performance, and conducting feature testing.
• Provide proactive technical leadership and guidance to the team on a daily basis, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure strict adherence to Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processes to maintain quality standards and compliance.
• Deliver monthly management updates, highlighting challenges, risks, and progress on key initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).

• Proficiency in SWE5 and SWE6 Validation and Verification methodologies.
• Essential experience with Android/QNX OS, with exposure to Audio, CTS, DSP, NSP, and AI. Strong Knowledge of Inter-Process Communication, Hypervisor, and Automotive Software is preferred.
• Expertise in end-to-end system testing, particularly within the mobile and automotive domains.
• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in embedded software testing, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Preferred programming skills in C/C++/Python, with mandatory scripting abilities in languages such as Perl, Python, and Shell.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams spanning multiple time zones.
