We are seeking system engineers with 3-5 years of experience for our efforts in the performance modeling/evaluation and architecture of our automotive hardware. Successful candidates with get an opportunity to work in a fast paced environment on cutting edge technologies that span multimedia, Compute and Machine learning technologies.

Responsibilities: The job responsibilities may include a subset of the following:

  • Designing and maintaining transaction accurate/static models for compute IPs

  • Performance validation and debugging performance issues in pre/post silicon platforms

  • Architecture analysis for performance optimization

  • Defining use-case flows for automotive use cases

  • Understanding product features and their impact on system performance

  • Working with the product marketing, customers to come up with best possible feature support available at given system configurations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 3+ years Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Skills/Experience : Candidates with strong analytic and problem solving skills with background and experience in implementation are preferred. Candidates should have expertise in the following areas:

  • Knowledge of typical multimedia flows,

  • Strong understanding of SoC infrastructure (NoC, Memory controller, DDR, QoS, MMU)

  • Strong systems mindset to understand and analyze all aspects of a design (power/performance/area/architecture)

  • Good understanding of NoC protocols

  • Experience in debugging system performance issues on pre/post silicon platforms

  • Strong programming skills and working experience in C/C++, SystemC, python

  • Strong background in performance modeling/verification

Preferred:

  • IP HW architecture experience

Educational Requirements

Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
