 is hiring a Senior Data Engineer in Bangalore. This position will offer a hybrid work schedule; Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in the office in midtown Bangalore with the option of working remotely on Monday & Friday.

Notified is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Data Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring high-quality data solutions for our organization. Your success in this role will be greatly influenced by your expertise in Informatica Application Integration, particularly in integrating real-time data across CRM/ITSM platforms and developing robust data integration solutions. This specialized knowledge is crucial for effectively bridging the gap between diverse systems and ensuring seamless data flow within the organization. You will be working with Engineering Leader building integration solutions across different platforms for Notified. 

HYBRID –This role will be based out of 

 located on the 4th Floor, Airport Road, Kodihalli, Bangalore- 560008.  Our expectation at this time, is that you would work from our office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays with flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand data requirements and define robust, scalable, and maintainable data models.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines, and workflows using Informatica Application Integration and Informatica Data Integration tools.
  3. Optimize data architecture and processing techniques to improve data quality, accessibility, and performance.
  4. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline-related issues, ensuring effective and timely completion of tasks.
  5. Demonstrated expertise in Webhooks, with the ability to design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient solutions for real-time data integration.
  6. Implement data security and privacy policies, maintaining compliance with industry-best practices and managing IICS licenses and platform administration.
  7. Stay up-to-date with emerging data engineering technologies and trends, and recommend new tools and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Provide mentorship and guidance to other Data Engineers and support continuous learning and development within the team.
  9. Participate in code reviews and contribute to establishing best practices in data engineering along with maintaining documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree is preferred.
  2. At least 5-7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or a similar role.
  3. Demonstrated strong knowledge of SQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization techniques.
  4. At least 2-3 years of experience working with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
  5. Snowflake basic knowledge is a nice to have.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  8. Experience in supporting a data-driven organization, and passion for turning raw data into actionable insights.
  9. Willing to work in 2 to 11 PM IST timing.
