Oracle UIM Consultant Requirement PRM 2201952
Experience 6-8 years for UIM Consultant
- Core Development experience in Oracle UIM
- Worked on RsDOD / UIM Upgrade (transformation projects).
- Good knowledge of UIM PSR model & be able to model logical as well as physical inventory in UIM cartridge
- Experience in UIM Inventory Managers such as Telephone Number Manager, Equipment Manager etc.
- Able to convert the Technical Design Document into UIM cartridges using Design Studio
- Able to develop rulesets, extension points etc. in the cartridge
- Able to perform data migration of entities from external inventory systems to UIM using scripts, rulesets, etc.
- Experience in RSDOD/RODOD applications
- Good skill in JAVA, J2EE, SOAP, HTTP, SSH, JMS, SQL, XSLT, XQUERY, XML, Drools, WebLogic Administration, Bridging and SAF configurations, Oracle RDBMS, PLSQL programming
- Experience in product & solution development in a Telco or at a technology vendor with a telecommunication focus.
- Ability to identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system
- Able to convert the Inventory Requirements into a Technical Design Document
- Knowledge of Voice, Data, Video, Wireless technologies
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty, and incomplete information when evaluating alternatives and making recommendations
- Ability to work seamlessly within a team as well as manage individual tasks
- Proven ability to work independently; designing, developing and deploying solutions, and to deliver projects on time with minimal direction
- Good Knowledge of UIM Database.
- Familiar with one or more Tech Packs such as GSM Mobile Tech Pack, Metro Ethernet Services etc. & should be able to extend the above-mentioned tech packs to meet customer requirements
- Conceptual model, Reference Implementation, RSDOD implementation knowledge is an added advantage.
- Able to develop web-services cartridges in order to provide an automated interface to UIM for the cartridges that are modelled
