Transaction Banking - BaaS Product Manager - Vice President - Bengaluru
BaaS Product Manager - VP - Bengaluru
The BaaS Product Manager is a role focused on delivering robust API products & connectivity solutions through our digital channels to corporate clients; Defining and delivering a product roadmap based on validated customer feedback; and managing key stakeholders both internally and externally.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute a clearly defined product roadmap to build client centric APIs & features that allow easy access to TxB features and data programmatically and in real-time
- Develop and execute product testing strategy for BaaS products to ensure product resilience & scalability
- Take a leadership role within the product team, establishing process and procedures implementing best practice agile methodology
- Evangelize digital platform capabilities with our Sales, Implementation and Servicing partners and support Go to market execution of products
- Draft product requirements, user stories and details taking a user-focused approach to product development
- Define platform protection controls (rate limits, quotas, etc.) for each API ensuring protection of services
- Manage product enhancement and maintenance backlog to add to product resilience
- Visualize and build product metric dashboards and track these metrices
- Oversee and coordinate the delivery and launch of platform that enable clients and partner product teams to succeed and drive revenue for the enterprise
- Collaborate with various partner teams to inform end customer experiences based on our data capabilities
- Translate between business requirements and technology specifications – in both directions: top-down and bottom-up
- Risk focused with an understanding of the impact of our products in a regulated industry, working alongside our Legal, Risk and Compliance colleagues
- Manage inter-team and technology dependencies to mitigate project and product risks
- Develop and nurture collaborative working relationships with key internal partners including business teams, various product teams, and enterprise technology organizations
Ideal candidate:
- Has minimum 10 years experience in product management and owning a product roadmap
- Has worked on externally client facing products
- Has experience managing other product owners/managers
- Has experience working in financial services or Fintech (ideally B2B connectivity)
- Comfortable in the fast lane: Experience with driving rapid team and product growth
- Customer centric: Understands the customers needs and drives development to maximize customer impact in line with product strategy
- Mission Driven: Must be a strong believer in the team and mission
- Inclusive Culture: Considerate to the cultural differences of team and a diverse user-base
- Forward thinking: Anticipation of organizational needs for efficiency
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in digital product management
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s degree
- At least 5 years experience working with API products/ platforms
