POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
As a Engineer-Assembly & Testing role, you will be responsible for Assembly, Testing, Inspection, painting and hand over all three screw pumps to final Q.C for dispatch as per customer PO and Sales Order. In this role you will be responsible for submitting pump performance documents to customer as per customer requirement. You will have to check approved documents and ensure the correctness with sales and planning before inspection.
Principal Activities
- Ensure zero accident and zero incident at all times.
- Prepare daily Assembly plan with ref to plan given by Planning Dept.
- Prepare daily Testing Plan with ref to Plan given by Planning Dept.
- Prepare daily Painting plan with ref to Plan given by Planning Dept.
- Daily distribute workload to workers
- Ensure correctness of pump assembly with correct BOM and as per Customer requirement.
- After Testing, Check pump performance with respect to pump model and also check pump performance with respect to Customer requirement.
- Ensure pump performance is as per customer requirement to clear the pump for painting and final Q.C.
- Check the approved document and ensure approved documents are ok before inspection.
- Ensure no hold points in inspection.
- Submit pump performance documents as per customer requirement.
- Plan for continuous improvement that is Testing setup time reduction, Assembly time reduction.
- Improvement in Hydro test time reduction.
- Submit JDI as per task for improvement.
- Submit Proactive observations as per task.
