Senior Manager, Tax
Job Title: Senior Manager, Tax Operations
Location: Gurgaon, India

This position assists the company’s tax provision and compliance functions for jurisdictions around the globe. The position is a key contributor to our tax team and to the company’s continued growth. The successful candidate is someone who proactively identifies problems, develops options, and effectively makes decisions under pressure, seeking input from affected stakeholders. This person is comfortable with ambiguity and prioritizes based on the analysis of the situation and/or review of relevant and available data. The person is intellectually curious and focuses on their continued development. We are particularly interested in candidates with using Onesource or Onestream for tax accounting. The position may be based in Gurgaon, India and reports directly to the Executive Director of Tax of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage quarterly and annual income tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740 for several key jurisdictions
- Execute tax technology improvements, including Onesource & Onestream optimization
- Manage the company’s compliance function for several jurisdictions
- Evaluate and implement process improvements to anticipate company’s growth and expansion
- Coordinate and review monthly global cash tax forecasting process
- Participate in and support controls and documentation regarding SOX compliance
- Collaborate with external tax consultants and internal and external auditors
- Participate in and support other projects as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Experience: 10-12 years of experience in a Big 4 / regional public accounting firm and experience in the corporate tax function of a publicly traded company, including the quarterly/annual tax provision process and SOX compliance
Skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage complex projects
- Proven project management skills
- Ability to research, analyze scenarios, adapt thinking as needed, and recommend appropriate steps to address tax and business challenges
- Quantitative skills (e.g., ability to create and/or review Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint slides)
- Knowledge of ERP systems, Tax Software, Onestream a plus
- Flexibility and adaptability – the ability to deal with changing internal and external environments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively with others as an effective, responsive partner
