Implementation Consultant
Job Profile:
As part of the Professional Services team, this position plays a key role in the success of a client's implementation of the FIS products falling under its Ambit Credit Origination (LOS) and Assessment Suite, i.e., Optimist and Portfolio Strategist. The Implementation Consultant works in conjunction with the client's business and technical teams to implement the Optimist and Strategist solutions in accordance with the client's contract. Consultants are client-facing in conjunction with the other Implementation contact points and are responsible for the end to end technical implementation work required on our client engagements.
Role & Responsibilities will primarily include, but are not limited to the following:
Configure, test and implement FIS's LOS, Optimist and Strategist solutions for assigned projects in accordance with client's contract and Statement of Work
Gather technical requirements, help define scope and assist with authoring Statement of Work, Project Plan and other scoping documents
Provide evaluation of client requirements including preparation of design documents, Solution design, interface design, Webservice integrations, SQL server stored procs, SSIS packages etc.
Provide consulting and support to clients as they configure the product
Data Migration from old legacy systems when applicable
Assist with project management by participating in regularly held status meetings and keeping the project manager and other stakeholders apprised of project and task status
Report, track and escalate system issues while keeping abreast of current issues
Attend product review meetings as required leading client workshops and product training
Providing client support in accordance to contract obligations
Total Experience:
4 to 5 years' of relevant experience implementing, using and/or administering Commercial Loan Origination software applications
Mandatory Domain Skills with level of competence (1-5)
Knowledge or prior experience in commercial lending, credit risk and/or credit administration
Proven experience in requirements gathering, process review, gap analysis and documentation activities
In-Depth knowledge on C# .Net, ADO.net, SOAP, REST, Web-API, IIS, SQL Server BI Suite, Python.
Familiarity of other Web-Service practices .Net/Java
Understanding of system design considerations for Web application.
Hands on experience on Clean coding practices, SOLID principles
Mandatory Technical Skills with level of competence (1-5)
Proficiency with MS Office products, including Excel, Word, Visio, Project and PowerPoint
Sound experience in using and configuring relational databases (e.g. MS SQL Server, Oracle)
Mandatory Soft Skills with level of competence (1-5)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with ability to communicate and interpret complex and technical information
Relevant Project Management experience
Proven track record of development/customization for webservice integrations and writing batch jobs using SL Server DB, windows scheduler, SQL BI
Effective presentation skills
Desirable Domain Skills with level of competence (1-5)
Understanding of a Loan Origination Process or Loan Management systems along with its sub-processes and reporting criteria
Project experience in Credit Management, Administration domain.
Desirable Technical Skills with level of competence (1-5)
OLAP cube reporting experience (ideally Microsoft SQL Server / Analysis Services) and JavaScript
Acquainted with usage of various Mathematical, Financial and Statistical functions for their further deployment in building up a credit risk scorecard / model
Desirable Soft Skills with level of competence (1-5)
Independent thinker with strong problem solving skills / Ability to make decisions and prioritize competing requirements
Be able to work autonomously and in a team environment
Excellent analytical skills and high attention to details
Desire and ability to work closely with clients
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies
Academic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other related discipline
Possible Career Progression (3-5) years
Travel Requirements:
Be available after-hours during "go-live" dates and on an as-needed basis
Ready to travel for extended periods
