Mechanical Design Engineer –
SCOPE OF WORK
The contract engineers deliverables include the following activities:
Incorporate design changes on drawings for parts, assemblies and installations using Catia V5/V6.
3D model development in support of detail, assembly and installation layouts.
Building Parts List and modifying Parts List per the Design requirements.
The tasks will include the following fields: airframe, flight controls, environmental controls, or hydraulics.
Work with a team of engineers in Bangalore and Wichita, Kansas, USA to design aircraft systems or airframe details and assemblies.
Work under limited supervision and follow established procedures to support assigned projects.
Communicate and coordinate with technical disciplines, such as M&P, Manufacturing, Tooling, Structural Integrity, and Aerodynamics.
Use and apply engineering principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to support new products.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
v CATIA V5/V6 experience required.
v ENOVIA/VPM/3DCOM Exposure
v Ability to read engineering drawings and part lists
v Aerospace Domain Experience
v Must be proficient with MS Office.
