Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and optimize extended reality (XR) processing pipelines and algorithms on Qualcomm’s platforms.

• Map XR algorithms to real-time implementation on mobile platforms and investigate hardware/software tradeoffs.

• Analyze functional and performance issues in different software environments and on hardware.

• Closely collaborate with product owners and domain/technology experts to integrate/validate software in a larger system.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ year of software development experience with bachelor’s or master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

• Excellent C++ and Object-Oriented programming skills

• Software development experience in multi-core architectures (CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, etc.) and native Android frameworks

• Software optimizations experience in various SIMD and DSP architectures

• Testing and debugging on mobile platforms or other embedded systems

• Outstanding problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and team working skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Domain knowledge in image/video processing algorithms, graphics shader programming, XR technologies.

• Prior experience in software development, testing and debugging of real-time multimedia features (Camera, Graphics, Video, Computer vision, Extended reality)

• Prior experience in Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms

• Strong skills in analyzing performance of software solutions on heterogenous architectures (core, cache, memory, bus, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
