Senior Java UI Developer
A Java Developer should be highly skilled and technically competent team member, who can demonstrate the following:
• An in-depth understanding of the Java programming language.
• Strong knowledge of application lifecycle from requirements through to testing and deployment, and related tools
Responsibilities
• Participate in effort estimation
• Take responsibility for project deliverables
Skills:
• Development with PLAY framework; html coding
• Broad JavaScript knowledge, e.g. JQuery
• Development Environment: Eclipse IDE
• Repository tools: Subversion
• Build Tools: Maven, & Hudson
• Database: Oracle 11g, SQL (Oracle db w stored procedures)
• Application Servers: Weblogic 11g, JRockit 1.6 ,
• Web Services; XML, WSDL, XSD,REST,SOAP and JAXB
• Experience working with enterprise development
Knowledge of the following is mandatory :
1. Unix (vi, curl, wget, less etc.)
2. HTML 5 & CSS 3
3.Javascript or JQuery and AJAX
4.MVC web framework experience.
Knowledge of the following is advantage:
1.Groovy,
2.GRAIL's
3.Playframework
