Store Manager
Functional Title: Store Manager
Position Summary: To promote and energize the MRPL Customer experience, oversee floor staff, develop relationships as a team player, and assist store manager with daily store operations
Reports to: Cluster Manager
Key Performance Areas:
Sales: Accountable for maximising sales by exceeding customer expectations & ensuring the delivery of international shopping standards by motivating, training & development of staff for excellent customer service
Tasks
Achieves the assigned target of the Store
Direct and supervise CRE's engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers.
Updated information on Target Vs Achievement
Proper breakdown & communication of daily targets to departments
Periodic feedbacks on sales & stock
Assists Cluster manager in making bottom up outlet plan & forecasting expenses
Customer Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Tasks
Identifies with the customer profile of the store & their reasons for shopping
Interacts effectively and resolves stated customer issues & recovers service failure
Tracks customer feedbacks & takes suggestions from customers
Demonstrates sensitivity to any customer issues & needs.
Store Merchandising: Ensures that the merchandise in the assigned shopping area is displayed neatly.
Tasks
Ensures that the display is as per the set norms of color blocking/stacking etc.
Ensures that all mannequins & busts are as per stated the VM norms.
Is prompt in rearranging the stocks & consistently monitors for ensuring proper dusting, piling, size stickering, size cubes & folding.
Ensures house keeping as per the store standards
Manages movement of stock between the floor, back store & the warehouse.
Implements & monitors the daily checklist as per the store guidelines
Adheres to the company guides lines for conducting inventory count & reports variance as per the deadlines
Controls pilferage & shrinkage on the shop floor
Ensures freshness on the floor by adherence to VM changes as per the guidelines
Maintains back store in order with style wise hanger displays
Reviews & analyses over & under stocking situations & assists the Cluster manager in taking corrective actions.
Administration:
Assign CRE's to specific duties.
Assists Cluster manager in reducing admin costs & over time
Updates attendance registers & reports absenteeism of staff on a daily basis
Manages utility services like security, cleaning etc
Enforces cash management practices & procedures at POS
Overseeing daily operations to include paper work & other documentation requirements

This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
English Language: Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
