Job Title: Director of Human Resources – Global Services (India)

Location: India (Multiple Shared Services Centers)

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead our Global Services functions in India, overseeing HR, IT, and Finance functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale shared services operations and a deep understanding of HR strategies, policies, and practices. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to drive organizational change, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Strategy:
    • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Global Shared Functions in alignment with organizational goals.
    • Provide leadership and direction to the HR, IT, and Finance teams to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance service quality, and achieve cost savings.
  2. HR Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
    • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the needs of the organization and ensure legal compliance.
    • Foster a culture of employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion within the Global Functions.
  3. IT and Finance Support:
    • Collaborate with IT and Finance leaders to ensure seamless integration and alignment of shared services functions.
    • Support the implementation and maintenance of IT systems, tools, and infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Provide guidance on financial processes, controls, and reporting to drive financial performance and accountability.
  4. Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, and functional teams.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on HR, IT, and Finance matters, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  5. People Development:
    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of HR, IT, and Finance professionals.
    • Foster a culture of learning and development to enhance individual and team capabilities.
    • Identify talent gaps and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  6. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to HR, IT, and Finance operations.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with shared services activities through effective governance and controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within a shared services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements in India.
  • Experience managing HR, IT, or Finance functions within a shared services model is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence, process improvement, and change management initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Certified HR professional (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
