Backup Specialist
Skills : HPDP(Data protector ) and EMC Networker
Experience : 4.5 to 7 years
CTC : 12 LPA
Notice period : Immediate
Location : Gurgaon
HPDP(Data protector ) and EMC Networker
- In-Depth Understanding Networker 9.x with Data Domains , Expansion Storage Units, V-Proxy - VSAs.
- Should be able to perform activities Backup Jobs/ Policies creation and modifications,
- Good Knowledge of SU addition, Device Addition, De-dup Jobs, Tape Library-Rotations , Media-Pools , Scratch Sets
- Troubleshooting for Failed Backup Jobs.
- In-depth understanding for Image / Flat File Restore Methods, Safe Sets , Expired Backups, Re-Indexing, SN tasks
- EMC Config Backups / Restore EMC Networker Server Re-Build using Backups
- Experience in EMC Networker Servers on Windows / Linux , EMC networker Client installation
Experience
- Good Experience in SQL / Oracle Backups, Oracle Backup & Restore R-MAN Scripting
- Good Experience in troubleshooting AOFO VMware / VM Backups & VM restore Tasks.
- EMC Networker certification preferred
- Strong understanding of data protection industry and platforms
- Strong understanding of server backup and recovery methodologies
- Working Expert knowledge of disaster recovery techniques
- Strong knowledge of EMC Data Domain and EMC NetWorker.
- Strong knowledge of de-duplication and compression technologies
- Working Strong knowledge of Windows, Unix and Linux Operating system
- Working knowledge with virtualized data center architecture and components, managing and protecting virtualized environments
- Experience with enterprise-class Infrastructure environments.
Certification
- VMware Certification - Preferred
MCSE / MCSA / MCP certification for Windows would be an advantage
